Second Edition: Biodiversity Dialogues - Latin America and the Caribbean

Latin America and the Caribbean are home to nearly 60% of the world’s biodiversity, positioning the region as a key player in the transition toward development models that integrate conservation, productivity, and social well-being.

This edition has a clear focus ongenerating actionable results. On June 9, international experts will work in closed technical sessions to identify challenges, opportunities, and concrete proposals regarding:

• Biodiversity as an economic value: transforming production systems with an ecosystem-based approach (regenerative agriculture, sustainable fisheries, and mariculture)
• Innovative technologies applied to sustainable biodiversity development
• Governance, financing, and incentives to scale up biodiversity-based solutions
